Responsible Care
Understand your care and who is responsible.
We believe patients make better decisions with honest, clear information about suitability, risks and aftercare.
Suitability Comes First
Not every person is suitable for every procedure. Suitability is confirmed through proper assessment, including in-person examination by the clinical team before treatment.
Understanding Risks
All medical and dental procedures involve risks, limitations and recovery considerations. You are encouraged to ask questions and expect clear answers before making any decision.
Your Treatment Provider
Istanera is your coordination service. The treating clinic and its healthcare professionals are responsible for clinical assessment and treatment. Before you commit, you receive the treating provider's identity and details for your specific plan. Confirm the named clinician, qualifications and clinical contact arrangements before paying or travelling.
Pre-Treatment Information
Patients receive clear information before travelling, including what the proposed treatment involves, what is included, and what to expect at each stage.
Aftercare Instructions
Patients receive clear aftercare guidance before treatment, and it forms part of a responsible treatment pathway.
Returning to the UK
Patients are given clear guidance on what to do if they have concerns after returning home. Our structured follow-up contact is designed to support you during this period.
Clinical Escalation
Clinical concerns are escalated to the relevant healthcare professionals. Istanera coordinates communication but does not provide clinical advice.
Emergencies
In an emergency, patients must seek urgent local medical help immediately — in the UK, call 999 or attend your nearest emergency department.
Complaints Process
For concerns about coordination, contact Istanera on WhatsApp or by phone. Our complaint contact route is explained on the Complaints page.
Revision Policies
Any revision policy that applies to your treatment will be confirmed in writing as part of your individual proposal. No standard revision policy applies unless it is confirmed in writing.
Treatment Warranties
Any warranty connected to your treatment will be confirmed in writing before you commit. Nothing is treated as warranted unless it is clearly stated in your documentation.
